Garment Care
At Hometown Print & Design, we take great pride in creating high-quality garments with direct-to-garment printing technology. We want your new shirt, hoodie, or tank top to last for years to come, so we've put together some simple garment care instructions to help you maintain its quality and longevity.
Washing:
When washing your garment, turn it inside out to protect the design. Wash it in cold water with a gentle detergent and avoid using bleach or fabric softener. Harsh chemicals can damage the garment and can sometimes cause the print to fade or crack over time.
Drying:
Air drying your garment is the best option. However, who has time for that? If you need to use a dryer, choose a low-heat setting and try to remove the garment as soon as it's dry. High heat can sometimes cause the print to peel or crack over time.
Ironing:
If you need to iron your garment, turn it inside out and use a low-heat setting. Do not iron directly over the printed design, as the heat can damage it.
Storage:
Store your garment in a cool, dry place to avoid any moisture buildup, which can lead to mold or mildew. Avoid hanging it in direct sunlight, which can cause the colors to fade.
General Tips:
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents on the garment, as they can damage the print.
- Do not dry clean your garment, as the chemicals used in the process can also damage the print.
- If your garment gets stained, try to treat the stain as soon as possible to avoid it setting in.
- If you have any doubts about how to care for your garment, always check the care label or contact us for advice.
By following these simple care instructions, you can extend the life of your garment and keep the printed design looking its best. Thank you for choosing Hometown Print & Design – we appreciate your business!
